Fundraising Opportunities
Greetings, Phoenix Parent Network members! We know that we don't have to remind you of the importance of fundraising for the financial well-being of Phoenix Elementary. Many of our fundraising projects are ongoing, and a few special activities are only active for a limited time. Read on to learn about how you can participate in these worthwhile efforts.
Box Tops for Education
The Box Tops for Education program has never been so easy or effective, and this ongoing fundraiser is something that Phoenix Elementary has relied on for many years. In years past, participants had to clip the logos off of product packages and send them in, but thanks to technology, it's even easier to collect them now: Just download the app to your smartphone, select the scan button, and enter a photo of your grocery receipt within two weeks of purchase. From there, Phoenix Elementary will immediately reap the benefits!
National Rewards
Those who shop at Amazon.com can also help raise money for Phoenix Elementary. Visit the Amazon Smile Web page to learn all about how Amazon gives back for eligible Amazon Smile purchases. Simply browse through the charitable organizations listed, select our group, and start making your purchases count even more.
Dell USA also offers a PTA Partnership Program for consumers purchasing a Chromebook. Shop through the Dell website and the Phoenix Elementary Parent Network will receive 5 percent of your purchase.
T-Shirt Fundraiser
Our annual T-shirt fundraiser is a great way to show off your school spirit and support our network! We alternate color schemes to keep things fresh, so even if you picked one up last year, you might want to take a look at this year's, too. After all, you can never have too many T-shirts, right?
Quiz Bowl Challenge
The Phoenix Parent Network is excited to announce that we're planning our second annual Quiz Bowl Challenge! Trivia-lovers, this is your chance to show off your infinite knowledge about just about anything and everything. This year, we're pitting the kids against the parents to see who comes out on top. It's not too early to sign up, and the entry fee is only $10 per entrant. Once you see the prize baskets for the winning teams, you'll agree that brushing up on your trivia will be well worth your time. We'll also be holding a silent raffle with three top prize baskets assembled with contributions from local retailers.
